adventurECO supports the planning, development, funding, and implementation of a range of small-scale sustainable development, cultural, education, and research projects throughout East Africa. adventurECO also offers travelers the opportunity to give back to the communities visited through "voluntourism," trek-specific projects, and support of adventurECO's ongoing development projects and activities. Additionally, adventurECO works with local partners to assist with "capitalization" of small business ventures leading to self-sufficiency through its Microlending Program (microfinance) and Capital Assistance Grants

Trek Specific Projects and Activities
adventurECO treks provide the traveler with the opportunity to give back to the communities visited, a concept often referred to as "voluntourism."  Opportunities and assistance may include volunteering, monetary donations, work on ongoing projects or random acts of kindness. adventurECO will work with trekkers to develop an appropriate project and/or activities to incorporate into trek itineraries.

*School Supply Donation Program
adventurECO’s School Supply Donation Program is an ongoing effort to provide basic educational supplies to partner schools, students, and organizations in East Africa. While the School Supply Donation Program generally consist of the donations of school and related educational supplies. Small monetary donations may also be available for specific educational projects or activities. and school fee assistance.

*Sports Equipment Donation Program
adventurECO's Sports Equipment Donation Program is an ongoing effort in which new and lightly used sports equipment is collected and donated to schools and organizations throughout East Africa.

Schools, individuals, and organizations interested in participating in the School Supply Donation Program or Sports Equipment Donation Program should complete and return Donation Request Form. Donation requests may be submitted Online, via email, or standard mail. Following receipt of the donation request form, adventurECO will review the request and notify the applicant of our ability to supply the requested assistance. Microlending Program
adventurECO's Microlending Program offers small, low or no interest loans to groups or individuals that are are unable to obtain capital from traditional lending institutions (banks, credit unions, etc.) to assist with "capitalization" of small business ventures, educational programs or other development efforts. Loan amounts range from a minimum of a minimum of $50 USD to a maximum of $250 USD (amount is flexible). Loan repayment conditions will be based on the particulars of the individual business and applicant.

Capital Assistance Grants
adventurECO offers  Capital Assistance Grants for small-scale business ventures or projects with capital needs of less than $50 USD. Capital assistance grants do not  require repayment.

Individuals and organizations interested in participating in adventurECO's Microlending  Program or applying for a Capital Assistance Grant should complete and submit the application  or contact adventurECO directly with questions or to request additional information. Application may be submitted Online, via email or standard mail. Following receipt of the application, adventurECO will review the information and notify the applicant of our ability to provide a loan or capital assistance and particulars confirmed.
